[jbox]

Reigning U17 National Champion, and Newham Swords Fencer, Kamal Minott, has recently gained selection for the Cadet World Championships which will take place in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, at the beginning of April 2014

This is Minott’s second major tournament of his fencing career, having already competed for GB at the Cadet European Championships last month. Kamal fenced superbly at these Championships, helping the GB Team make the last 8 of the Team Event.

Minott was not the only member of Newham Swords to be selected for the Cadet World Championships – Swords Club Manager, Linda Strachan, and Swords Head Coach, Pierre Harper, have also been selected as the GB Team Manager and GB Foil Coach respectively.
