14 year old takes Bronze in Senior event

Rising star, Teagan Williams-Stewart (aged just 14), achieved a personal best on 18th March when taking bronze at her first ever Senior Open (the Invicta Senior Foil).

She remained undefeated throughout the day before losing to the eventual winner, Justyna Osmanski (a Senior Polish International).

“What an amazing result from this very talented 14-year old who was able to beat fencers around ten to twenty years older than her”, said Swords Manager, Linda Strachan.

At the same event Georgia Silk was presented with a medal for being the best placed Kent fencer having got into the last 8







In addition it was great to see our other GB cadet and junior internationals starting to take part in Senior Opens
